Being profiled

The desk decides who is profiled, on editorial grounds. Profiles cannot be commissioned, paid for or placed, and we do not accept submissions of prepared biographies for publication as written.

If you believe someone’s work belongs in the publication, write to the editorial address with a short account of why. It will be read, and it will not create an obligation.

If you are the subject of a profile

Subjects can ask for a factual correction at any time, and can ask for a profile to be withdrawn. Both routes are described in the editorial standards. Correction requests should go to the corrections address rather than to an individual contributor.
